Sugaring NYC Brings Organic Hair Removal Services to Franklin

Sugaring NYC, a nationwide sugaring hair removal franchise with over 100 locations, has opened its first location in Franklin, adding a splash of pink to the town on a gray and cloudy day. The company offers an organic alternative to hot wax hair removal, as well as lash lifting and brow laminating services, using a paste made of only sugar, water, and lemon to remove body hair.

Leslie Kostamaa, the franchise owner, is excited to bring Sugaring NYC to Williamson County and already planning to open a second location soon. After a career in pharmaceutical sales, Kostamaa found Sugaring and knew she wanted to get involved. “I fell in love with all the pink,” she said.

 

Community members and Williamson Inc. members who came to support the opening also seemed to be cheered by the bright pastel pink walls and decorations inside the new business. “It’s kind of dreary outside, but you walk into this space, and it’s pink and bright, and we’re just thrilled to be here to celebrate with them as they open this new location,” said Leigh Bawcom, Director of Member Engagement at Williamson Inc.

As a 25-year Williamson County resident, Kostamaa saw a need for her business and is excited to share her passion with her community. “Sugaring NYC is a new business to Williamson County, and I’m just happy to bring it here,” she said.

While the location technically opened on Feb. 1, Sugaring NYC is holding its grand opening event on Saturday, March 30th, from 1-4 p.m., with food, drinks, a photo booth, and prize drawings. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and check out this new business!
